Position Overview: The IT Project Manager at DNBC Financial Group will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects to ensure they align with the company’s business goals. The role includes managing resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Management:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  1. Execution & Monitoring:
  • Lead project teams, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed, and report on performance.
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Address and resolve project issues promptly.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lessons learned to enhance future projects.
  1. Web Management:
  • Oversee the development, design, and maintenance of the company website.
  • Ensure website functionality, security, and efficiency.
  • Manage web content updates and coordinate with marketing for promotional campaigns.
  • Optimize the website for search engines (SEO) and enhance user experience (UX).
  1. Information Systems Management:
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems development and operations.
  • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
  • Assemble and manage teams of information systems personnel to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems.
  • Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company, or project.
  • Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other personnel and oversee their professional development and training.
  1. Systems Analysis & Improvement:
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and oversee IT systems.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within the organization’s IT infrastructure.
  • Review existing IT systems and internal processes.
  • Develop, implement, and apply policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality.
  • Develop quality assurance procedures and tests for new and existing systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and document discrepancies and ensure appropriate adjustments are made.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on computer systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years in IT and software management, proven experience managing IT projects, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, digital transformation, and web management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
